Madrid 6 april de 2021.- Consultia Travel, a company specialized in the comprehensive management and advice of business travel, has appointed José Carlos Martínez CEO of the corporation, a position from which he will be in charge of executing and leading the international expansion that the company plans to launch in the next years.
Since 2017, Martínez has been a member of the company’s Strategy, Management and Finance and Investment Committee, in addition to holding other positions on different boards, such as co-chair of the Digital Transformation Committee of the CEU Global University of the Future Advisory Board, among others.
From this new position, he will share the strategic execution and expansion of Consultia Travel with its founder and also executive, Juan Manuel Baixauli. In addition to implementing an efficient and competitive organizational culture with a global vision.
Previously, José Carlos Martínez held, for more than 20 years, different global execution positions in Fortune 500 companies such as Intel Corporation, from where he contributed to expand the company’s global leadership, developing business in more than 75 countries. In addition, he held positions of international responsibility as Worldwide Director of Sales Strategy and Planning for Partners; general director of Africa or world director of Business Development of the company, among other positions of responsibility.
Martínez, Valencian by birth, has a degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Valencia and completed his studies with an MBA at IE Business School, Strategic Marketing courses at INSEAD Fontainebleau, France; and obtained in 2020 the Certificate of Company Counselor at the Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.
In addition, he will combine this position with the activities of advisor that he has been developing in technology startups.
