The solidarity bus chartered by Consultia Business Travel with 51 Ukrainian refugees arrives in Valencia.

  • After the success of the first operation, another bus left yesterday with the intention of bringing more refugees to Spain.

  • The initiative was born from the entrepreneur Juan Manuel Baixauli, president of Consultia Business Travel, and has been developed with the foundation ‘Juntos por la vida’.

Madrid, March 10, 2022.- The bus chartered by the startup specialized in comprehensive management and business travel advice, Consultia Business Travel, is already back in Valencia with more than fifty Ukrainian refugees. An action that has been carried out together with the foundation ‘Juntos por la vida’, an organization that is currently leading initiatives for the reception of Ukrainian minors in Valencia.

The bus left Valencia last Friday and travelled to the small town of Przemysl on the border of Poland where it picked up Ukrainian families who wanted to leave their country due to the war with Russia. The Consultia Business Travel team was also supplying humanitarian material in the former Tesco shopping center, located in that town, which has now turned into a shelter for the Ukrainian citizens.

After the success of the operation, the Valencian businessman Juan Manuel Baixauli, president of Consultia Business Travel, and the foundation ‘Juntos por la vida’, have decided to keep the corridor running and yesterday another bus full of supplies left to bring more families from the Ukrainian border. To tackle this operation, they have the coordination of the honorary consul of Ukraine in Valencia.

Juan Manuel Baixauli, has shown his satisfaction with the arrival of the Ukrainian citizens in Valencia. “For me, as a businessman and within the Corporate Social Responsibility actions that we are doing from Consultia, we feel obligated to collaborate and contribute to alleviate, to the extent of our possibilities, the humanitarian disaster that we are living. I would like to thank all the companies, people and entities that in the last few days have approached us with the intention of collaborating in future shipments,” he said.

“The economic solidarity with the Foundation is being crucial and this organization is grateful for the resources and help they are receiving since it allows them to effectively accomplish the work, but it is necessary to continue collaborating to maintain these logistics. We have the capacity to keep the route with more buses. It is sad, but this has only just begun and unfortunately it looks like it is going to be a long one, so we will have to continue supporting these charters to rescue people”, assured the founder of Consultia Business Travel.
