Spanish startup specialising in integrated business travel management

Consultia Business Travel will increase its workforce by more than 30%.

  • The company recovers all its workers in ERTE, which means retaining 100% of the positions, and will strengthen its workforce during 2022 with the aim of continuing to grow and expand business.

  • Consultia Business Travel has just launched Destinux Travel Management Dashboard, a new digital tool that, through its Destinux technology platform, allows you to optimise corporate travel management and achieve significant savings.

 

Madrid, April 26th, 2022 – The company specialising in business travel management, Consultia Business Travel, will increase its workforce by more than 30% after overcoming the ERTE (temporary lay-off) it had resorted to as a result of the slowdown in corporate travel and the restrictions on mobility resulting from the pandemic.

 

Soon, 14 business travel professionals will join the Consultia team with the aim of reinforcing its service and expanding its business. In the words of Carlos Martínez, CEO of the company, “although corporate travel has not fully recovered in our country, thanks to the clients who continue to trust Consultia and those who have recently placed their trust in us, we have already recovered 100% of the workers we had in ERTE and we intend to continue growing”.

 

Last February Consultia Business Travel signed an investment round of 1.2 million euros to undertake the company’s future plan and has created a new functionality for its Destinux technology platform. This is the Travel Management Dashboard (TMD), a management tool that allows the analysis of all information related to corporate travel. TMD adjusts the budget to the company’s objectives, controls in real time its execution and compliance with spending policies, allowing savings of up to 15% in the budget allocated to this item.

 

Involved in the project

Consultia was born in 2010 with a team of professionals that has grown and evolved with the company. The Spanish firm currently has 42 employees and records a low staff turnover rate, which speaks of the involvement of all those who work at Consultia with the project. A staff made up of professionals with more than 25 years of experience in the sector and engineers specialised in the development of the most avant-garde and innovative technology on the market, which is now looking to incorporate new members.

 

To reinforce its staff Consultia Business Travel is looking for the following profiles:

  • Business Travel Managers with experience and advanced knowledge of Amadeus.
  • Software developers specialised in .NET and Angular.
  • Key account sales people in the travel sector.
  • Operations.
  • Managers in the area of HR and Finance.

In demand:

  • Proven experience in the business travel sector, MICE and/or your area of expertise.
  • Bilingual and trilingual (English, Portuguese, Arabic, French, German, Italian).
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Who want to develop or continue their professional career in an innovative, creative environment that takes care of the human aspect.
  • Who want to be part of an international project from the very beginning.
