Consultia Business Travel will implement teleworking for all its employees in Spain

After the good results obtained with the implementation of teleworking during the pandemic, Consultia Business Travel has decided to incorporate it officially for all its workforce with all the conditions and legal guarantees.

The flexibility in the working conditions implemented by Consultia Business Travel has allowed the reconciliation of work and family life of the employees, as well as a higher degree of satisfaction and an increase in the motivation of the employees.
Madrid, 13th December 2022 – Consultia Business Travel, a company specialised in business travel management, will implement teleworking for its entire workforce in Spain. From 1 January 2023, all Consultia Business Travel employees in our country will be able to work part of their working day from home with all the legal conditions and guarantees.
Working one or more days a week from home is an option that employees see as a very attractive way to promote a better balance between their professional and personal life. Consultia Business Travel, aware of this demand, has decided to offer this possibility to its employees. A free and voluntary decision on the part of the company and the worker, which will have an agreed duration and which will be set out in an “Individual Teleworking Agreement” with all the details and conditions established by law.
For Carlos Martínez, CEO of Consultia Business Travel, “the company’s main reason for implementing teleworking is the satisfaction of its workers. Along with this incentive, in our teleworking policy we have taken into account other premises related to maintaining the high performance of the company and the high quality of collective work, maintaining IT security against data leaks and cyber-attacks, and scrupulously complying with the law”.
Technological and sociological changes in recent years, accelerated by the recent pandemic, have made teleworking one of the most important issues in the workplace for companies and employees. This has resulted in an increase in teleworking in organisations, which is not only a technological change, but also a cultural change. Both must be properly managed in order to achieve the goals of greater employee satisfaction and company efficiency.
Teleworking policy and basis
In order to eliminate ambiguity and maximise the short and long-term benefits for the organisation and its employees, Consultia has defined its teleworking policy, the conditions for its implementation in the company, and the rights and obligations of the company and its employees in this new working method.
Employees may choose to work part of the annual working day from home, with the final percentage to be agreed between each employee and their direct manager, depending on their own preferences and the needs of the company. A minimum of face-to-face mode is established with the aim of strengthening the connection of employees with the company, the brand and the culture of the organisation; fostering collaboration between areas, socialisation between people and mutual enrichment of all employees.
Excellent results
The decision to definitively implement teleworking in Consultia Business Travel has been motivated by the good performance and results obtained during the pandemic. The excellent performance of remote work by all the people who make up the company, the high motivation and commitment of the employees, as well as achieving the agreed objectives have been decisive.
For Carlos Martínez, “at Consultia we are convinced that remote work is a competitive advantage. Offering workers and potential candidates the possibility of teleworking from wherever they are makes companies more attractive in terms of appealing and retaining talent. It also opens up the possibility of incorporating new talent from anywhere in the country, something fundamental for a company like Consultia at a time of full expansion, growth and increase of its team.
