Consultia Business Travel expands its presence in Europe with the arrival in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy

  • The Spanish company, which until now operated in Spain, Portugal, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, is expanding its presence in Europe.

  • The company plans a second phase of the expansion process with the arrival in more European countries by the end of this year.

Madrid, 2 Octuber 2023.- Consultia Business Travel, the Spanish scaleup specialising in integrated management and advice for business travel, announces its arrival in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy. These three countries are key to the expansion plan of the company and its global solution Destinux, which until now had a presence in Spain, Portugal, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Destinux is an innovative technology used by an increasing number of companies, which represents a change in the way of contracting a traditional travel agency by offering a comprehensive corporate travel management software licence that integrates with the client’s systems (ERP), thus eliminating traditional management fees and saving time and costs. All of this, without losing the human touch by having a Personal Travel Assistant, with whom the traveller has an assigned person at their disposal who is in charge of solving any possible unforeseen eventuality that may arise.

The expansion of the service to new countries responds to the company’s strategy of accompanying its clients in all the countries where they have a presence in order to offer the advantages and coverage of Destinux in its different delegations. According to Carlos Martínez, CEO of Consultia Business Travel, “The United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy are strategic markets for us, as they will allow us to provide services to international clients with subsidiaries in different parts of Europe. Our short-term objective is to consolidate our presence and expand our network throughout Europe”.

Expansion to more countries planned in the short term

In addition, the company specialising in the integrated management of corporate travel in its international expansion plan plans to expand its service to 7 countries and thus reach a total of 14 European countries in the coming months.

Consultia Business Travel was founded in 2010 in Spain, as a company specialising in corporate travel with the aim of offering the best customer service with the most innovative technology. With the concern to make processes more efficient, the company has developed from the beginning, Destinux, the global corporate travel management software that represents significant savings for companies.

The company, which aims, in addition to expanding its services to other countries, to make its offer accessible to all companies globally, has carried out a series of improvements in this regard over the last year, such as the simplification of its product and the renewal of its website in different languages as well as the graphical interface of its Destinux solution.

In fact, in recent months, the company has incorporated workers with different profiles and is looking for new talent in these countries to enable them to respond to the needs arising from the process of international expansion and growth abroad.
